Check out the sales numbers for Ford Motor Company from September 2009.
- For the full 3rd quarter, Ford Lincoln Mercury sales increased 5%, making Ford the only full-line manufacturer to report an increase and this is the first quarterly year-over-year increase in four years.
- 2010 Ford Fusion retail sales were up 3% from a year ago (compared to a retail industry decrease of 21%). This is six months in a row of increasing numbers for Fusion.
- Retail sales for the 2010 Ford Taurus were up 79% from a year ago and up 24% from last month.
- Ford F-Series retail sales were up 1% year-over-year and total sales up 4%. F-Series posted back-to-back sales gains (Aug/Sep) for the FIRST TIME IN 3 YEARS. F-Series segment share was up almost 18 points in September to 39.1%. Thus, Ford outsold GM pickups (not just Chevrolet, but GMC added in) by over 6,000 units.
- With 88 days to go in the Leadership Race, F-Series has a calendar-year-to-date lead over Silverado of 66,038 units.
