Marc & Harriet Feigenblatt: Greg Kien Sales Testimonial

We purchased a 2010 Fusion Hybrid.  We had done a great deal of independent research before ever entering a dealership, so we had complete knowledge of the model and options we wanted.  We’ve never purchased a Ford of any kind before primarily because our research indicated that until recently, Ford products were inferior to those of other manufacturers.  Regarding the ranking of vehicle attributes, we place safety above all else, followed by reliability/durability and then by the balance of features which would include gas mileage, performance and options.  Aesthetics would be last, but a tie breaker among equals.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, we would like to offer the following testimonial regarding the sale with specific kudos to Greg Kien.

In the thirty years that we have been married, the Ford Fusion Hybrid is our ninth new automobile and our first Ford.  It was, by far, the best experience we’ve ever had when purchasing a new vehicle and we give credit to Greg Kien, our contact at Beechmont Ford.  He listened to us intently when we told him of our needs and concerns and always responded in a positive and helpful manner.  He recognized that we were educated consumers and treated us as such.  He took the time to make certain that all of our questions were answered in a clear and concise way.  He went above and beyond, even after the sales was complete.  He made the entire process not only easy, but very pleasant.

When we first stepped into Greg’s office, it was apparent that he was very knowledgeable and we appreciated his no-pressure attitude.  Although the Fusion Hybrid was a high-demand vehicle, he offered us an exceptionally competitive price and did not pressure us into purchasing any additional services or products.

Because we were uncertain about a particular exterior color, he searched for a dealership in the area that had the exact model and color in the lot so that we could view it in person rather than in a booklet.  When he discovered that no area dealerships had one, he worked with us to find one in Louisville, Kentucky, because he knew that we were traveling through that city the following week.  He had already made the sale — it would have been easy for him to just point to the colors in the Ford brochure and let us decide from that.

When we picked up our new Fusion, Greg spent a lot of time in the vehicle with us, demonstrating various features and controls.  Since this model has an extraordinary number of high-tech and complex systems, we were very appreciative that he went over them before we had a chance to read the manuals.  Within minutes of arriving home from the dealership, we even received a phone call from him asking us how our first trip in our new car went!

If we hear of anyone (friend, family, acquaintance) who is interested in purchasing a new vehicle, we will definitely send them to Beechmont Ford and especially Greg Kien.  We are always very careful about whom we recommend to others and we know for certain that anyone we refer will also find it to be their best new car sales experience.

2010 Ford Taurus SHO Survey from Al Price in Dayton Ohio

Dick,

I took the Ford survey a few minutes ago and made the following remarks regarding the sales experience.

All matters, from test drive to delivery, were done in a professional manner.  The salesman, Dick Barrick, bent over backwards to locate a hard to find vehicle with the options I wanted, then arranged X-plan pricing and improved the trade-in allowance for my previous car.  The sales experience was probably the best I’ve ever had in over 35 years of driving.

Overall the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO is doing well.  It is more comfortable than the Acura TL and has more pep.  I’ll be curious to see how it drives on a long trip.  Although I’m slowly getting use to the larger size, the one thing Ford can do to improve the SHO is increase rear visibility.  Also, offer rubber mats to protect the carpet.  I bought some mats at a parts store, but they don’t fit as good as they should.

Since (I think) my car was the first SHO in Dayton, Ohio, most people have favorable remarks.  Interestingly enough, my neighbor who works at the Ford transmission plant, had a nearly identical SHO in his driveway last weekend.  We haven’t spoke since I saw it, but based on the tire size of his car it probably lacks the SHO performance package.  His is the only other SHO I’ve seen around town, and I’ve seen no non-SHO Taurus’.  Ford needs to ramp up production and get these vehicles to the public.

Antwan Odom Service Testimonial

Antwan Odom, Cincinnati Bengals DE, just returned to Cincinnati, OH from his stellar performance against the Green Bay Packers.  Antwan’s performance was probably the best of his professional career and he single-handedly made the Packer offensive line look like Swiss cheese.

So, what does Antwan Odom do when he returns to Cincinnati and rejuvenate his mind and body?  He visits Beechmont Ford and picks up his Ford F-250 lifted truck, of course!

Before Antwan left for Green Bay, WI, Antwan asked Beechmont Ford to install King Ranch leather in his lifted F-250 truck.  Antwan returned very pleased with the leather installation and shared his excitement in the video below.

An ecstatic customer from Michigan

I cannot thank our salesperson, Mr. Dick Barrick, and Beechmont Ford enough.  I had such a hard time trying to get a dealer in the metro Detroit area to even talk to us because I am a young woman.  Imagine that, in this economy, a Michigander, who lives in the metro Detroit area, has to go to Ohio just to find a sales person who wants to sell a car.  Well, together, my fiance’ and I were finally able to find a dealer who would sell us a car, but not just any dealer.  The staff at Beechmont was amazing, they were ready to sell us the vehicle when we showed up, all the paperwork was in order, they were able to find us a lower interest rate, AND they filled up my fiance’’s car with gas.  What a great dealer!  Together, my fiance’, and I have purchased four cars from various dealers, and this was the smoothest and more importantly, honest transaction we have ever had with a dealer.  Thanks again to the fair and friendly staff at Beechmont Ford and our sales person Mr. Barrick.  We will be more than happy to make the five hour drive, for our next vehicle, the honesty and integrity of this Ford dealership and the staff is well worth it!

Sales Testimonial: Christine McGeorge

Dick Barrick was our sales consultant and I can’t begin to convey how wonderful both my husband and I felt about our experience with him.  I have purchased approximately 6 new vehicles from various dealerships, Beechmont Ford, Jeff Wyler, Walt Sweeney and our experience with Dick at Beechmont is hands down over any other.  They just don’t make salesman like Dick anymore!  We purchased a vehicle at Beechmont Ford about 10 years ago and came back there several months ago but just didn’t get the level of service and ultimately did not buy a vehicle.  We decided to give Beechmont another chance as my husband still felt a loyalty to them and we lucked out getting Dick as our salesman.  Those young guys sitting around the desks chit-chatting about their plans for the evening or weekend should take some pointers from Dick.  Not only did we buy the Ford F-150 but a week later we came back and purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion Sport!  I have shared my experience with everyone I know!!!  I must also give some kudos to Janet Mastruserio!  What a remarkable lady!  We both appreciated the time she took to explain every detail to us so we knew what we were agreeing to.  Unfortunately, due to some past debt that we’ve been working on but still dragging our score down.  Janet gave us some pointers to help our score going forward and I have complete confidence she fought hard to get us the most competitive rates she could under the circumstances.  I understand Janet is retiring and really hope that Beechmont Ford finds a way to keep her on a part-time basis and she is a gem!  These are just a few remarks about why we feel strongly about the positive experience we received from Beechmont Ford and I assure you with service like that we will certainly be back!  For now, I’m all over my new Fusion Sport!!!
